"We enjoyed the relaxing location just outside Le Molay Littry. It's 50mins from Caen in countryside like Cornwall, but without the people! We weren't aware it's right next to a cow farm but they weren't a bother, but there are a lot of flies,which we got used to. The house is a little sparsely furnished but spacious. "Nadine me us on arrival. She speaks only French, we speak only English. However, with the use of a translation app on her phone we managed. She provided a thorough explanation of the features of the property. The property was spotlessly clean with a really well equipped kitchen. There is a beautifully landscaped garden and it is fully secure, important as we had two small children with us. There are many WW2 historical sites within easy reach, also true of beaches. "We stayed here for two weeks and had a wonderful time. The property had all that we needed and was perfectly located for quick nips to the local beach, just a smal drive from the Normandy beaches and Bayeaux and plenty of beautiful scenery. The house was peaceful and spacious with a great garden for the children to play in. Many evenings spent in the garden with a glass of wine! Thanks"

"Stayed here during the 75th anniversary of d-day. On arrival didn't know how to check in but was not a problem as owner lives next door. Great location to easily get to other places. Resident chickens in the garden made our stay welcoming and interesting. One day owner left us fresh eggs and on the last night of our stay left us a bottle of wine and biscuits. Would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back."
