"Charming apartment on the bustling streets of Bayeux. Coffee, pastries and restaurants within a block, many restaurant choices and a grocery store within 3 blocks. Walk to the cathedral and the museums. The apartment itself is small but well laid out, the living room overlooks the street and the bedroom is in the back (very quiet). "There were 6 of us staying at the property and the set up was terrific. Beds, bathrooms and living areas all comfortable and well fitted out. Nicely decorated and quite funky. Back yard garden and eating area also great. Short car run into Bayeaux or about30 min walk. Friendly owner easy to communicate with and helpful. Lives next door. All in all a great spot and would recommend. Makes a great base for visiting all the D Day sites. Thank you Emmanuelle."

She provided a thorough explanation of the features of the property. The property was spotlessly clean with a really well equipped kitchen. There is a beautifully landscaped garden and it is fully secure, important as we had two small children with us. There are many WW2 historical sites within easy reach, also true of beaches.
