"The room was beautiful - but a reminder that 2nd floor in France = 3rd floor in USA. While the room was new and had a beautiful view over the public gardens the private bathroom is anything but - the toilet is literally IN your room, with no privacy at all. It is not ideal. We only stayed for one night so made it work - but it wouldn't be comfortable with anyone other than a significant other. Also - we asked if any extra pillows were available (total of two provided) and the answer was no. "

"Julien, the owner, was great, as was his assistant Rosie. It is a truly excellent location, close to all one would want to see in Bordeaux. It is on a very quiet street, adjacent to some of the main thoroughfares. Breakfast was very acceptable too. And Julien was very willing to share advice on things to do, how to get there etc. We would definitely stay with Julien again."

"Truly beautiful location on the banks of the Dordogne in a small vineyard. We stayed here by chance as part of a longer road trip. We wouldn’t consider ourselves wine lovers but the free wine tasting session was really informative and completely changed our outlook on wine. The hotel accommodation was of excellent standard and the hosts were very friendly. They also make excellent and very reasonably priced wines."

"We loved our stay here. This is a small family run B&B. A real gem in St Emilion. We stayed in the loft room but the low ceiling was only a minor inconvenience. Appreciated the facilities in the room including the fridge in the hot weather and the thought that went into designing the space so it is completely blackout at night. "Really nice property, small but we'll thought and super clean. Staff was really good and friendly. Great location, walking distance from downtown, and great restaurants and coffee shops. As a solo female traveler, I felt a little uncomfortable because there was a group of men chatting, laughing and smoking on the hallways until very late at night and during the day. I assume they were guests as well, but then front desk is not always attended. I visited in November. "
