"We had a great stay at ibis Marseille Centre Gare Saint Charles! The hotel and its facilities were clean and well-kept. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and answered our questions about our scheduled train ride. While smoking is very common in Europe, it is good to keep in mind (especially if you or your young children are sensitive to the smell) that some cigarette smoke may come through your window from the café below - we didn’t mind too much...

"First off, I made a reservation at this hotel but was sent to a place down the road. It couldn't even be called a hotel. It was more like a shelter. Nothing even close to the picture, not even close to a place you could stay for more than a few minutes. Avoid at all costs."

"On y a été pour voir le match de foot France/US pour les JO. A 25 minutes à pieds du vieux port, l'appartement est très chouet. Néanmoins, il n'est pas recommandé de garer sa voiture dans ce quartier, car trop dangereux. Le quartier est très malfamé."
