"Good, relaxing house. All amenities were good. Basement bedroom a bit misleading but ok. Very good for the price!"

"We were a group of 8 adults and 6 children all under 7 and we had a holiday to remember that met all our needs. The house is beautiful and very spacious and the garden and pool were great in the hot, sunny weather we were lucky to have. The house is set in lovely countryside with lots of walks and fresh bread and groceries just a short walk through the vineyards in Douelle. Would definitely recommend!"

"Bon séjour, bonne communication avec le propriétaire des lieux, maison spacieuse pour 11 personnes ! Manque de propreté en général ! Araignées...fourmis...protéges matelas et oreillers douteux ! Dysfonctionnement des deux chasses d eau ! Malgré ce manque de propreté , la maison est adaptée pour un séjour famille ou amis au calme dans un environnement agréable ! Le plus ...un barbecue !"

"This was an excellent property that caters for all age groups. The property was large enough to cope with 8 adults and a baby. It was a 10 minute walk out of Sarlat so easy for early morning croissants or walking back from an evening meal. We had on incident which was quickly dealt with by the owner. "Fantastic views over the surrounding countryside and absolute peace and quiet. The property is exactly as the photos and description, with top quality appliances and spotlessly clean. A mix of modern and traditional French building. Very friendly and helpful owners, who live adjacent to the property but keep to themselves, although they only speak and email in French. Note the property is 2.5km outside Cales, the nearest boulangerie is 7km away in the next village and supermarket 25km away in...

"What a great stay! The house and setting were beautiful, the pool was an absolute delight, the river was close by and deliciously cooling and everything was high quality, worked well and had been thoroughly thought through. Highly recommended. The only thing that could have improved it would be air conditioning in all the bedrooms rather than just the largest. All round though it was superb."
