"A perfect launching point for visiting all of Northwest Scotland. The staff was amazing and helpful. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and very clean. Large modern bathroom as well as all the little touches that made the stay very personal and far exceeded my expectations, especially for the cost! The town of Inverary is also amazing. Plenty of dining options that are walkable from the hotel. All were EXCELLENT. The only item I would mention to keep in mind is to ask for a room away...

"A really unique and beautiful B&B a short walk from Inveraray town centre. Rob was a great and kind host, and tended to our every need. We stayed in the Cairngorm Suite, a beautiful room with everything you could need and more, and a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was also to a high standard with great local produce. Would highly recommmend and would love to stay again!"

"Had a great stay, breakfast was outstanding!"

"We had a two night stay at 2 stones. Ben greeted us and was very welcoming, friendly & informative. We had a fabulous view looking out over loch Long. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. A decent sized bathroom although the shower was a little 'snug'. There was traffic noise from the road but it didn't affect our stay. Breakfast was fabulous with plenty of choices. We would definitely return."

"The hotel roomed seemed spacious and clean. The shower ran out of hot water first thing in the morning. I had to take a cold shower at 7 in the morning because the warm water just went away and I had the handle turned all the way to hot. Not a great experience. And my husband was charged $10 for a small bowl of cereal and a coffee which is steep. "

"Our stay at Douglas Park was simply wonderful. From trying to spot dolphins out the windows at breakfast to warm welcomes from Tilly and Ken after a rainy day out. Ken is an absolutely wonderful host whose hospitality is exemplary! Thank you for a lovely stay!"

"A warm welcome, clean room and fabulous views and topped off with an amazingly tasty breakfast! This guest house is next door to the “Ben Arthur’s Bothy” pub which serves fantastic food at reasonable prices and the Lochside views from the Guesthouse and pub are amazing!"

"After a long drive we had an incredible welcome from Jess..she really went above and beyond to make our stay the best experience we have had in a hotel! We felt she was very professional and we were blown away with her kindness. The restaurant staff were lovely too..our stay felt homely and was always a lovely atmosphere. "

"Out in the country, a few miles from Inverary. Staff were excellent! Wanted to please!!! Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was very good. Did need more hot items. Internet was not very good. Location probably was the issue. Stairs could be challenging for some patrons. TV was fine. Plenty of parking!"

Large modern bathroom as well as all the little touches that made the stay very personal and far exceeded my expectations, especially for the cost! The town of Inverary is also amazing. Plenty of dining options that are walkable from the hotel. All were EXCELLENT. The only item I would mention to keep in mind is to ask for a room away from the road if you are a light sleeper as you can hear the cars passing. They thoughtfully offer ear plugs and night masks as well, so I slept very well in their comfy beds."
