"Good location to explore the Dordogne, with great views from the property. Basic accommodation , tired but functional, near to chateaux, gardens, and other places to visit. Pool unheated, and shared with two other properties, but good on a hot day."

L'emplacement est à la fois calme mais aussi à dix minutes en voiture des services offert dans les petits villages aux alentours. De plus, nous avons bien apprécié l'air clumatisé dans la canicule. En bref, nous la recommandons fortement!"

Martine even let us park in her driveway to avoid the parking lot. Both recommendations they gave us were perfect: La Petite Tonnelle - great restaurant steps from the house, and Sarissa at Taxi & Touring a la Carte provided us with a local winery tour that was educational & enjoyable! "We were a party of 5 young at heart seniors who enjoyed every minute. The accommodation was of a high standard and a lot of thought went into the detail to make our stay 5*. The beds were very comfortable and the ensuites immaculate. The weather at the time was hot and we made use of the lovely pool and aircon.
