"Really beautiful place. Beautifully furnished (not IKEA!), totally nice bathrooms. Location is absolute heart of Sarlat - but up on the second floor - so you could hear the (summer) crowds below, but be “above it all” - very fun while making dinner for ourselves :-))! No a/c, so needed windows open - and it can be noisy - but for us, part of being in Europe! Well equipped kitchen (tho add ice cube trays, salad bowl). And be aware they charge an add’l fee $85 for linens (tho good quality linens)....

"Very impressed with the apartment, we loved every minute there and wished we’d booked longer. The balcony was lovely to sit out on even with the road being directly below, we had all five of us sat there chatting on a few occasions. Inside the property the layout suited everyone with several places to sit and the pool was an added bonus. Location is perfect, minutes away from Lidl for supplies and a nice walk into Sarlat centre. It is very well equiped with most things you may require on a self catering stay and with a very comfortable bed.The friendly helpful owners live above, and are readily available to answer any queries or resolve any issues. There is a good boulangerie/patisserie, and an Ok takeaway pizza place about 2km away. A well recommended place."

Ideally placed for the old town amid the hustle and bustle of restaurants, shops and sights yet a peaceful little oasis with its little courtyard and good windows to keep the street noise out. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well equipped and with comfortable beds. Sandrine was a wonderful host. We would definitely go back."

"Heidi and Paul were amazing hosts, ensured your time with them was perfect but also considerate of your privacy. Location was perfect, sat on the patio watching the deer, amazing sunsets and night skies. Property provided exactly what we required with a very comfortable bed. "Overall experience of the property: - Owners friendly, with a bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival - Fantastic pool and a lovely garden - Superb location to visit all of the key areas / sights within the Dordogne Few points to note: - The stairs in the property are very steep, therefore, not suitable for young children or the elderly - The wifi didn't work very well and was intermittent - not a deal breaker but useful to have - Very hot upstairs as no fans or a/c - again not a deal breaker...
