"What should have been a perfect week, turned into a disaster with a contaminated pool, which the owner had known about but didn't warn us and a dirty house. Both issues were flagged up to both the owner and VRBO at the time, but 2 months later, we are still waiting for even a gesture of compensation. The property promised so much and could have been wonderful, but with the owner abroad, things had obviously slipped, including the gardens which were overgrown and scruffy. The area is wonderful...

"We had a good time, visiting, museums and chapels in the area and walking around Vence old town. It was very convenient to the old town area and restaurants. The major drawback was that the bathroom is. In the main floor cottage and the sleeping is in the loft upstairs"

It is beautifully appointed and decorated, the bed is incredibly comfortable, and the privacy and serenity of the position amongst the peach orchards is something rarely found so close to the coast.
