"Although not particularly close to restaurants the location worked really well for us. The accommodation we were in (1bed family/sleep6) was slightly smaller than the ones in the photos but ideal for 2 adults and 2 teenagers prepared to use a bunk bed in a room that was not technically a bedroom, probably due to it’s size, but worked well for us. "We booked the room with the expectation to find a 4 stars hotel, both families came with our kids and it was supposed to be our winter holiday, but unfortunately it become a nightmare. Rooms were dirty, walls were damaged, juicy or vomit on the floor, the sofa was badly stained and super dirty, toilet was licking and made a bad noise all night, sheets were dirty, no hair drier, no basic hygiene objects, with stinky hair and with a lot of small hauls, the shower didn' t work because the hot water...

"Terrible. Would not stay here again. Power continuously went out. Extremely loud, could not sleep. Walls are so thin you can hear people outside and in every room. Floors were so dirty. Beds uncomfortable. Front desk does not help at all with any requests. Spend your money somewhere else. "

"Bardonecchia is a ski resort, so accomodations are mostly ski lodges. Do not expect any large hotel chains here. We were here for 5 nights in June and had a great time. Location is close to train station and to the main street where you can find lots of restsurants. The views are amazing and did lots of walks. "A clean building with friendly and close to town...shops beneath and everything you would need in close proximity. Only negative was that you could hear everything that was going on outside and people in the flats next to you, above you and beneath you but utterly was relatively quiet and not really a trouble."

"A very handy location and a well maintained property. Location is a 5 min walk to the slopes and nearby restaurants and shops. We rented a 6 person room for 2 adults. This worked well as it meant we had 2 bathrooms, though it meant we had more to clean before we left. The living space was very generous. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. "

"The chalet was perfect for a big group of 11 men (and room for more!), 5 minute walk from La Roche ski lift. There is a bar and ski hire at the bottom of the lift, although no shop, so we drove up to Plagne centre each morning. Communication with Audrey is exceptional, she is extremely attentive and answers your queries quickly. The living room is great for communal dining and evening entertainment (we played lots of cards). The Olympic bobsleigh is a short walk up the hill."

"Excellent! The location for access to the slopes is fantastic, the food options every day were incredible, the boot room is wonderful, rooms spacious and comfortable, excellent wine and then the sauna at the end of a day skiing is divine"

"Harold the General Manager made sure everything was perfect. His attention to detail is outstanding. Everyone was so warm and welcoming from the beginning to the end. From the friendly and professional staff in the ski room, Hugo and the girls at reception, the shuttle bus service, the concierge making all our bookings, the exceptional gourmet buffet breakfast every morning, the lounge area where we sat and listened to the piano being played beautifully by the fireplace. Stayed for a week, could have stayed forever. The views whilst having breakfast are breathtaking, as are the views in our room. And the best part is you are steps away from the snow and skiing. Perfection!"
