"This villa is very well equipped. Comfortable beds. Spacious rooms.Not always possible to find an en suite on the ground floor for a 92 year old! Quiet location. Beautiful scenery. The only slight annoyance, no towels, so come prepared! Luckily our friends living nearby provided us with them! Would recommend this villa which has the bonus of a swimming pool, for the warmer weather, boules area and table tennis space. Thank you Jean Michael Michaud for providing a welcoming home!! "

"Nous sommes ravis de le semaine passée dans la maison, et au bord de la piscine sur la belle terrasse entourée du magnifique jardin en terrasse . La maison est fonctionnelle , impeccable, reste assez fraîche malgré la canicule . "This property was beautiful. They had everything you needed. Well equipped with beautiful surroundings. Our group consisted of 4 adults, two teens and 2 under 10's. The house itself was beautiful, with great outdoor space for shade during the day and evening meals together, or simply chilling. The Pool was clean with plenty of sun loungers and shade available. If you are looking for a quiet retreat, this is for you. A car is a must, as no town/village in walking distance. We really could...

"Belle semaine dans cette maison agréable et très spacieuse. Petit problème de fourmis qui envahissent tout le quartier, mais rien de dramatique. Alès n’est pas fabuleuse, mais la région est riche de sites naturels et d’activités. "

"We have been renting villas for 20 years, this was the best by far in terms of quality and value for money. Great peaceful location and only 5 minute drive to Ales with excellent shops and restaurants, I even had an “Elvis” steak at the American themed diner! Many places within an hour including wonderful Uzes, Nimes, Avignon, Pont Du Gard etc Communication both before rental and during with the English speaking Belgian owners was superb. "As there are no English reviews, here's the first! We stayed here in late September and the weather was fortunately good. The house is equipped for a holiday stay (no bath towels but hand & tea towels + bath mats provided - don't know if this is a French thing). Both showers are large and powerful. There was always plenty of hot water . TV is French terrestrial but there is fast internet so we watched Netflix and Sky with no difficulty by streaming through laptop to the TV. Beds comfortable and...

"We were an extended family - grandparents,parents, children and teenagers. We travelled by train and had no car. The house is spacious - plenty of room for all. Great kitchen and dining spaces. Superb shops for all needs, especially lots of organic and local farm produce. Wonderful wild swimming and energetic walks around Mt Lozere. Easy train travel to Nimes, Villefort and surrounding villages. Couldn't recommend highly enough."

A wonderful holiday

"The gite was very clean and comfortable, and everything was provided that we needed. The owner, Fabien, was very helpful, before and during the holiday, offering suggestions of places to visit and telling us about the history of the region.Great hospitality was shown to us. We appreciated our visits to both local and regional venues such as Nimes,Uzes, and the Cevennes National Park, and the pool was a great asset to us on very hot afternoons. Overall we had a wonderful stay. Merci Fabien."

Lovely stay in Lasalle

"Lovely location, nicely kept house with both pool and pool table. Good communication with Amanda even though she was unable to Be around for our stay. Pool was smaller than expected and there were some issues with the filtration which were sorted after a call. Only issue we had was parking 4 cars in the garage which was very difficult from the main road. Otherwise we had a good time."
