"We were a party of nine adults and there was more than enough room for everyone. It’s a fantastic and quirky old house that has not been over restored, it’s a little remote, there is nothing in Saint Paulet, so a drive to get delicious bread and pasties every morning. Fantastic pool. We really enjoyed our stay, Sam was very helpful even though he was not anywhere near. "

"We had a lovely stay in the tiny village of Orsans. I stayed with 11 friends (mainly couples) in July and we couldn't have enjoyed it more. The village is a short car journey to Carcassonne, which we visited for an afternoon though the heat cut out trip short. "From the initial enquiry, communication with the owners was excellent. Anne and Frédéric are excellent hosts, very helpful without being intrusive. The accommodation cannot be faulted. Clean, very well equipped and very spacious. Small but well stocked supermarket within 5 minutes. Larger Carrefour and E Leclerc hypermarkets within 20 minutes. Pleasant 3 mile walk through vineyards and around a lake straight from the Gite with more demanding and walks and hikes within driving distance....

"Aline was incredibly accommodating and a great communicator (French or Spanish). The lodging is definitely rustic but had all the amenities needed. Our kids loved playing on the grass, in the pool, and around the property. Great rural location fi that's what you're looking for. Wifi not strong enough to do work from home."
