"This was a wonderful place to meet up with family and stay. It is surrounded by sheep and cows. Beautiful grounds. The house was cozy with lots of windows with great views. "There was a Christmas tree and decorations which made the house feel quite festive. The house was very comfortable and warm with plenty of space for the family of 5 adults and a dog. The facilities were a bit mixed - The living room tv was not working but this was sorted quite quickly. "We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Perfect location for catching the train to Edinburgh and a quick drive to Stirling. Our host was quick to respond to a very minor issue that was rectified the same day. The cottage is on a beautiful property, loved watching the cows walk by the fence line. We would love to return!"

"Cottage was home from home, spotless and had everything we needed. Fiona and David were very welcoming and gave us ideas where to visit. The outdoor seating area by the water was idyllic. Cottage was in a good location easy walking distance to Balloch and small supermarket nearby. Would definitely stay again"

"I loved it. I was there visiting my nephew and his husband. It was a comfortable space to have them over. It was a home away from home. The only negative I could say to anyone looking is this: If you are not a big city person, you might find it too noisy for you. I did not as I live in a big city. The police station is very nearby, so you will hear a lot of sirens. If this type of thing would bother you, it might not be your pick. But it was perfectly fine for me!"
