Waking up to the serene view of horses grazing in the pasture and watching the scenery change throughout the day was such a treat. It was the perfect escape and would love the opportunity to return. "Had a great time, beautiful view, and the lake was great. The kitchen was stocked well with everything you need. However, the paddle boat was broken and we were not able to use it. The hot tub worked great! Would recommend and would stay here again!"

Welcome to Chimney Base Chalet, on the first floor of Chimney Chalet. Relax on the porch and listen to the sounds of the Broad River while gazing at Chimney Rock State Park.

"The informational packet provided by the hosts was extremely helpful and very thorough, and even provided recommendations for places to visit. We only had one minor issue during our stay which we were able to communicate to the hosts to resolve. The kitchen in the cabin had anything we could possibly need and we were able to easily cook multiple meals after visiting the nearby Ingles. Overall it was a great stay and we would recommend this location to anyone looking for somewhere central to stay...

"This is our 4th year in a row to stay at this cabin. My 2 boys (9,15) love this cabin and surrounding land. We love to fish, explore and build fires in the fire pit. We also love to look for cray fish and shoot BB guns… "
