Their breakfast was an absolute masterpiece - great choices, variety each day and so well served. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend them to anyone looking for special accommodation so close to Russell town centre."

"A beautiful location with a homely feel. Well equipped unit for four, great linen, lovely balcony. We paid more to have a sea facing room but considering how expensive the room was per night (and a lot more than last time we stayed) it’s disappointing that one room at least did not have an en-suite. Towels not changed daily (due to “saving water”), extra cleaning charge of $30 pp for the “two extra guests” even though we booked for four people - surely the room rate should be for four people...

"Sea Breeze is an excellent B&B and Jos and Robert are friendly and welcoming hosts. They give you the travel experience of staying with good friends. The location of the property on the beach on Oneroa Bay in the town of Russell is fabulous. The room overlooks the Bay and north to the Pacific Ocean beyond. It is a very short walk to the beach and swimming in the warm water is a treat. My wife, who rarely goes into the water, could not resist the call of the surf. Overall a great experience....

"I stayed here for three nights and after an awkwardness over my fault twin booking all went well. Its a bit noisy, to be expected but the north side room view made up for that. I liked it but let down by the tired pricey restaurant. There's vastly better options down the attractive Strand foreshore. Tha Gables is amazing, Seaside has good fare and the Pompallier cottage cafe great for teas and tours."
