"Lovely hotel in the beautiful little town of Sault. Staff at the hotel were super friendly and the hotel is in a really fantastic location. Warning - I stayed Monday to Wednesday in April and that meant choices for dinner were limited. "

"We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in July. We were shown to our bedroom at the end of a corridor. After the door there are 2 steps up to the accommodation level but no further door beyond these steps. During the night my wife woke up to go to the bathroom. As there was no lighting, and she was in an unfamiliar environment, she mistook the space above the steps to be the entrance to the bathroom. She fell down both steps and hit her arm, knee and head very hard on the tiled floor. The noise from the fall was significant. She seemed to be unharmed other than severe bruising. The following morning I reported this to 2 people at reception and asked them to log the incident in case of repercussions and asked that they put night lights in the room. They did not seem very interested. Later in the day I asked the Duty Manager if the report had been recorded and it hadn’t. I also asked him to make sure it was logged. We left after 2 nights having not received any formal type of apology, no night lights were placed in the room and no one even came to the room to see if we were safe. On arrival in Spain my wife went to hospital for a head scan. Fortunately she seems to have escaped and serious effects. But this could very easily have been a fatal fall and the steps in question are clearly a hazard to life, health and safety."

"Mollans is a self contained village with Sault (excellent market) , Vaison and Mont Ventoux within easy reach. Excellent place for coffee, two bakers, a butchers, small supermarket etc meaning that you can obtain everything you need for the week. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. The property is excellent, tasteful and all on one level once inside. Spacious and one of the best equipped we have stayed in as actually has two bathrooms and a bath which is almost unheard of. We much appreciated the provisions that had been provided (again first time in over 8 properties in 2 years), bread, fruit, drinks (soft and alcoholic) etc. Enough that we were able to eat that evening. However, the streets are very narrow and we left our car in the square about 200m away. We have a BMW X2 and whilst we drove down to unload and load up I would suggest that anything over the size of a Clio or Mini is too big to make it worth the effort on a daily basis (most cars had plenty of scrapes on them). That said the streets were wonderful to walk along but bear in mind if you have trouble walking any distance or up hill."
