I arrrived later in the evening after the desk attendant had already left i went to my room & found that the room didnt match the pics that the had online & there was little to do about this because there was nobody there & nopbody answered the after hours phone call. Although this is a nice little motel, the problem is that I specifically booked this property for the Hot tub after a day of skiing & the hot tub was broken, but they were offering for me to use the one 2 miles up the road which is completely uncomfortable & not very accessible if my room is 2 miles away & its 19º & snowing
prior to heading to the mountain the next morning i was speaking to the exceptionally dry desk attendant & i was informed that the hot tub had been out of commission for a few weeks and they were waiting to have it fixed. this is something that should have been noted during the booking stage.
I went to pick up my "breakfast" in the morning & i inquired about the possibility of cancelling my 2nd night & was informed that i would have to call Expedia to discuss it with them. i decided to ski & see how i felt after this & whether to drive the 4 hours home was an option. I decided to leave the hotel since there was no need for me to stay any longer since i couldnt do what i had originally had intended to do.
I am an avid traveler who flys over 140k miles a year & whp spends over 200 nights in a hoetl. Thos was not a great stay.
there is also NOWHERE to eat or drink after 8 pm.
