"The hotel was located in a great location for me near the train station. Food was fantastic. I had a slight situation with the shower leaking. But the manager (can’t remember the name) and Anya were very good to me! Couldn’t have wished for a better team to look after me whilst waiting for it to get fixed. I suggest staying here especially for the vibes. "

"The rooms are comfortable and had all the facilities you would want. The rooms are a little tired but with such a busy island you’ll only be sleeping and showering in it. Staff extremely helpful and welcoming including to our dog who they treated like royalty. Evening meal very good and breakfast which I paid for in advance was impressive. Great location. A little noisy at pub closing time but should be expected as I booked a hotel above a pub!!! Would recommend for all"

"I read the reviews of this hotel after booking and was a bit apprehensive but this hotel is clearly under new management. Staff so helpful and friendly breakfast was really tasty with fresh locally sources produce and I had the mixed grill in the evening (my go to meal), AMAZING! If I ever visit the IoW again I would happily stay at the Prince of Wales. "

"We absolutely love the Elmer. We have stayed before and as previously, we were treated wonderfully by everyone. It’s a dog friendly pub & all the team spoilt out dog rotten, and he enjoyed the stay more than us. The room is clean and functional but the food & especially the breakfast nothing short of magnificent. Fresh and local produce making for a delicious meal.
