"We had a wonderful week with our 2 children here. The house has a fantastic view of the sea and is located on a quiet private road so it felt very safe and secluded. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and the terrace was a great place for meals with a view. The local towns of Lavagne and Sestri Levante provided plenty of shops and restaurants and we were able to do a boat trip to Portofino and a day trip to Lucca in Tuscany. Highly recommended. We will return!"

"Our family stayed just four nights and it was clearly not enough time to fully appreciate the house and its setting on the Riviera. Spacious and well kept, the house is an architectural gem terraced into the landscape. Save for the rusty railings (please paint these!), the house is in good shape with manicured gardens, pathways, a great pool and shared access to the water. "Communication was very good. Property was clean and well-maintained. Proximity to beach was outstanding. It's approx. 1/2 mile to train station, and taxis, if you can find one, are not very interested in transporting you (even though we had a traveler with an injury). Plan ahead."

"Tranquil location, well equipped accommodation with beautiful garden overlooking quiet green valley. Easy drive to Recco as a base for trips by train to Cinque Terre and Portofino. Supermarket & fuel 10 minute drive. Small grocery shop in walking distance along with other scenic walks. The owner Adolfo was very helpful. Highly recommended."

"The property was clean in terms of dust, but dirty in terms of everything else. The dishes that were in the cabinets were not clean. There was an awful smell of a dead animal in the walls or something in the bathroom, so the windows had to stay open. The drawers in the dresser had a bad smell and were not clean as well. Would give 3/5 stars just because the view, location, and the terrace were all phenomenal. Also, be warned, there are many steps to get to the place; don't pack a 50lb suitcase...
