Great for exploring the area around Carcassonne, Albi, Narbonne, etc. Beautiful surroundings, extremely quiet (a must for me) with a nice pool and friendly horses who will occasionally visit you over the fence (carrots are appreciated). The hosts are very pleasant and helpful. The nearest grocery store is about 20 mn away so you do need to plan a bit."

"House was beautifully well equipped, immaculately clean and tidy. It’s in an excellent location only 15 minutes from Carcassonne but with absolute peace and quiet. Local pool in the Village was great in the heat. The local butcher carries bread, pastries, preserves and lovely wine, not forgetting meat. Laurence was wonderful with ideas of where to visit, and was available for anything we needed but otherwise very discreet."

Everything you could possibly need for a comfortable, relaxing holiday with friendly advice from Philippe and Corinne and not forgetting their 2 gorgeous boxer dogs. "I wanted something different than the ordinary. I was struck by the photos and descriptions. Even though a wide angle lens was used, but I knew that. The house was nicely furnished with virtually all one could need in the kitchen. My sister and I are both over 70 and the stairs were a bit challenging as they were steep. The WC is on the bottom floor only so keep that in mind if you have any mobility issues. But that is very clear in the information. Our hostess was very kind and available!!...
