"We have thought hard about this review because the people that run the hotel are very nice people who are very welcoming. Despite the language barrier Ginette was great and spoke better English than we did French. However, the issues were with the room itself. When we entered the room it actually looked great with the bedroom being separate and up one flight of stairs but there was a damp musty smell that we thought may have just been from being closed. "It was lovely, beautiful, friendly, quiet, and comfortable here. Guests are in rooms upstairs in a couple's new home. The house is part of a new development with large back yards. There is even a rooster next door. The couple presents a very nice continental breakfast of fresh, delicious breads and crescents, home made jam and hot tea or coffee or chocolate. The couple is very warm and welcoming. We couldn't have had a better time. Oh, they gave us a booklet of local sites and restaurants...

"I travel a lot and have stayed in thousands of hotels, all very forgettable. You will never forget staying here though! Wonderful room with very nice bathroom on a memorable property. Very quiet and peaceful. Stephane and Karine are gracious hosts and I am thankful they have made their location available. Zero complaints and cannot recommend highly enough! The whole area is very beautiful so be sure to go for some walks in the country! "
