"Comfortable hotel very close to the centre. Staff very friendly and helpful. Parking available in hotel (€14) but for free in evenings on nearby quayside. Free WiFi fast and reliable (84Mb). Excellent breakfast(€21 full or €10 express formula). Surprised by size and facilities of Caen - usually bypass on way to and from Ouistreham. Definitely worth a visit. Loads of restaurants and bars near the hotel with a lively vibe in the evening. "

"Booked a "triple" room as we had our son along on this trip. The room was small but very clean and comfortable. Having the option for us all to stay together rather than having to book an additional room was great. The room was just right for the three of us. "

"Beautiful hotel in a quiet location, with comfortable rooms and a very good sleep. We had a chateau room which was delightful and good value. Helpful and friendly staff, though we were caught out by the fact they don’t staff reception all hours, so you are supposed to let them know in advance when you’re arriving, if before 3pm. A few small issues: the bathroom had a bath with shower attachment but there was no high spot to hang the shower head, so had to hold it which makes washing hair very difficult. More than that, the handle was broken so the shower head just spun in our hands, and water went everywhere. Tricky to have a comfortable shower. Breakfast was not really good value for money; we’d recommend grabbing something in town."

"Price was right. Off season. Very small room with two twin beds. Sufficient to sleep in. Not sufficient for sitting in. Nice lobby with shared space with Mercure hotel. Amy was super helpful. We walked right next door to great restaurant. Le Bustrodome was recommended. Excellent food and service. Underground free parking too. Great find. "

"We had a great one night stay experience at the hotel - really friendly helpful staff, only shame was not being able to get food at our 8.45pm arrival. We ordered uber eats so it wasnt the end of the world. Beds, linen and room were really clean and comfortable. "
