"I stayed at the Barthels for two nights, arriving after a very long drive and immediately being able to relax. It’s clean, modern, and comfortable and in an incredible location right in the heart of the old town of Würzburg - I could see the cathedral dome right outside my window! Despite that, it wasn’t noisy and I wasn’t ever woken up to the sound of church bells chiming or street noise. "Staff here was wonderful. They spoke very good English, which was appreciated. We booked the room with a kitchen. Super spacious. Had a balcony off the kitchen, if you are a smoker. Bathroom was quite large. Super quiet. We didn't purchase the breakfast but it smelt wonderful. We took the bus to the center hub and the hotel was a few blocks from it. We did ask a local for help in getting there. Wonderful restaurants around the hotel, along with stores within walking distances. "
