"Enjoyed our stay in Tarvin! The cottage was quaint and comfortable. The amenities were perfect for a weeks stay. It was winter so no garden in bloom but it was lovely, well maintained and I enjoyed some bird watching. "

Friendly owners on hand for any issues or queries. Easily sleeps 8 (2 double and 2 twin room) and has two lovely hot showers. Plenty space for families!"

Property was clean and had everything we needed for our stay, including kitchen utensils and some disposables which aren't always provided so that was a bonus. Lovely welcome basket of local produce provided on arrival. Property owner was easily reachable and quick to respond when needed."

"We stayed for a weekend during a very hot spell. The cottage and gardens were delightful (great for playing hide and seek with the grandkids!) and the hosts welcoming. Be aware that it is on the flightpath for landing/take-off from Manchester airport so can be noisy - but on the upside, the kids enjoyed watching the planes! Co-op in the village for groceries, good fish & chips and local pubs for eating out. Would be helpful to have this information/contact details in the cottage. Would recommend...

"From the moment we arrived we settled in immediately. Everything we needed was there.Quiet ,spacious and comfortable rooms for 4 adults and two children. Outdoor space was lovely to sit out when the weather was good, great views too.and private parking for cars. So handy for Chester,easy park and ride, the zoo Liverpool,West Kirby, Cheshire Oaks retail.Loved the White Lion with good food ,plenty seating in and out. Definitely recommend the beautiful Old Stables."
