"Everything at this place is well thought out and cared for. Our host provides everything needed and thensome. She gives you complete privacy and access to all her outdoor amenities, pool, bbq, canoes and fire pit. The canal waterway is beautiful for boating or just watching sunsets.The resident alpacas are adorable. The area is so quite and peaceful, only the sounds of nature. Highly recommend for quiet, peaceful get aways! and "

"Incorrectly booked another hotel for the wrong night. Cora took us in last minute and was gracious to all of us, even making up a second bed last minute and bringing milk for evening tea. The kids enjoyed the large projection screen and the swingset outside. We couldn't get enough of the view and the beautiful decor. Very well kept and loved by the owner. Linens, extra condiments and bath products at the ready! Very much appreciated, Cora. Thank you so much."

"We were excited about our stay at Rice Lake! But the house had a few problems and it made our stay less enjoyable. The small A/C unit is located in the living room area and not in the bedrooms. So every night was hot, and unable to cool the rooms properly. Second problem was the washer failed on the 2nd day of our stay and the owners did not fix the problem.
