"This is my second time visiting The Palace hotel. The staff is hugely attentive from the moment you get in. The rooms are spacious, well kept and for my purposes, an excellent set up for working with a very comfortable desk. The gym was surprisingly spacious and well stocked with free and cardio equipment. Breakfast was excellent but a bit pricey at 45 Francs! Had I been with my family that would’ve been 200 Francs for breakfast!? Stay in and have dinner at the hotel restaurant, Grande Chene. All kinds of seafood, but I had the steak tartar as well. All in all, a lovely property. Try to get a room looking towards the water or don’t spend the extra cash and just get a room in the high floors facing the Cathedral. Beautiful! "

"Wonderful team on the front desk. Extremely polite and helpful. Rooms were spotless and comfortable. Great location across from the station and 20yds from the metro which was free due to the free travel pass from the hotel. It also gave us a discount on the ferry across the lake to france"

"This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at.The staff are outstanding. Polite, helpful with excellent English but prepared to humour my attempts at speaking French. The room was wonderful with an incredible view across the lake to the mountains. The breakfast buffet was amazing, especially the eggs Benedict cooked to order. The spa was good too. I could not recommend more"
