"We stayed at the lovely property so that we could attend a family reunion at Lost River State Park. The park was only about 7 miles from the house. The home was lovely. Clean and well maintained. We loved the front porch swing and my 12 year old son spent time on the swing off the front porch. We put on water shoes and explored the creek out back too! "We booked this property with the event of the polar express planned on Saturday. We checked in Friday night and the house was wonderful. I really enjoyed the journal that was left to write notes about guests stay. I thought there would be a lot more to do in town but we couldn’t find much of anything of interest at the time, so we ended up leaving early Saturday evening."

"We had a great stay at the cabin! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook at home but we would recommend bringing some groceries. The house was clean and inviting and offered lots of privacy. There was no cell service but the Wi-Fi was great. We’d love to return!"

"A bit of warning regarding the road to the property would have been appreciated. It definitely would have influenced which vehicle we would have chosen for the trip, the truck and not the car. The cabin was lovely and if not for Zepp Rd it would have been the perfect vacation. "

"My friend and I came up to do some biking on the C&O and western Maryland rail trail, and to also do some hiking! Weather was perfect and the cozy cabin fit all our needs perfectly!. Very cutely decorated…Clean…Beautiful views. The host even invited us for dinner one night if we wanted to join them! Check in was easy and there was even a few snacks and waters provided. All very thoughtful gestures. We were warned that there was a two mile stretch of rougher road leading up to the cabin but...

"I enjoyed every peaceful moment I was there! Living near, and working in a big city is loud and stressful. This was just what the Dr. ordered! Beautiful home in a beautiful setting with great amenities. Loved the lower level deck and propane fire pit that was ready to use! My older dog had a few problems traversing the steps but he loved being there as well!!! Already booked another stay! "
