My purpose for my stay was to hike the Dolomites and I was looking forward to the spa and sauna after a long day of hiking. When I asked the owner how to get to the sauna she said that it’s an additional charge (more than I was willing to spend) and would take 1.5 hours to get ready. "The property was very nice and secure. Breakfast was included and consisted of fresh croissants and meats, three varieties of each. Coffee, tea, bread and jams were in the room upon arrival. "A tad off the beaten track, this is a quaint, country small bed and breakfast. Extremely clean, spotless throughout. Breakfast was somewhat limited, but the quality was good, including freshly home-baked bread. The hotel is near a hydroelectric dam and in the middle of an apple orchard region. WiFi sadly not good. "The 2 nights stay at Stadt Hotel was excellent. Staffs were friendly & kind. Check in was fast, and the apple strudel welcome dessert was excellent. Piazza Walther was just 2 minutes walk & surrounding were filled with good restaurants. My first impression with Bolzano was great. "
