"Our room was too small, we mentioned our issue to those wonderful folks at the front desk. Next day we were given an upgrade at no charge. This particular good-will gesture,customer service, was so appreciated during our week-long stay. Love Augusta Lucilla Palace. "We enjoyed our second stay at the Republic and have referred several friends to the hotel. It has a first class breakfast, WiFi, and elevator. It is close enough to Termini to be convenient but not too close to the negativity that accompanies the station. Our room was perfect for our stay. The only negative is the shower, which is with the worst possible flooring when wet and soapy. I felt lucky to have not fallen."
