"Good place to stay, love the reception staff, all super nice and speak different languages. There was some working around the hotel, but they did their best to accommodate our request for a quiet room, even letting us enter the room before check-in time. Apart from one morning without water that the hotel quickly fixed, I couldn't fault anything. "Indoor pool is very nice. Comfortable space with working kitchen. Quality/price value. Close to walk in vineyards and also to town/restaurants. Saturday market is amazing !"

Better than expected, overall

"My hopes were not too high due to previous reviews, but i was pleasantly surprised The room was small if spending more time there, but 1 night only it was fine. I noticed immediately how spotlessly clean everything was. The bathroom especially, under the bright lights The service was ok in the bar around 11.30pm. But the best thing was when i got into bed. The sheets were starched but the bottom sheet was silky. The pillows plump and smelt so clean, I felt so cozy The towels were also clearly super clean. (I used the reception toilets whilst waiting for my lift - you could have had a meal off the floors) My only problem was the breakfast. The service was less than friendly, (i spoke both French and English because i didnt feel understood - no, it seems the 2 waiters weren't very friendly/outgoing) the offerings were not plentiful -2 fruits in a fruit salad!, no saucers, no teaspoons, half a cup of coffee, congealed eggs, rubber looking mushrooms- i wont go on. It wasnt worth 24 CHF imo WOULD I STAY THERE AGAIN? YES, but i would go to a boulangerie for breakfast The night receptionist loaned me a Samsung plug because i couldnt find my English/Swiss adaptor, so that was very helpful "
