"We spent Christmas here with our dog and found the property suited us in every way - a large secure garden for the dog (with access from both the living room and bedroom), lovely spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen all in a peaceful location. We were able to visit Strasbourg and Colmar very easily from here and also enjoy the Rhine and discover the lovely town of Gengenbach. Delightful hosts next door."

"This property is beautiful and the location is perfect for exploring the Black Forest. We did experience a couple of challenges, but the host was fantastic and did everything he could to put things right and quickly. It is very isolated here, so no nipping to the shop, but it’s exactly what we wanted. Kids would love it here. So much for them to do. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"The best gite we’ve stayed in, with lots of lovely small touches. If we were really picky the pool could be a touch bigger, and there would be seating outside rather than on a covered terrace (which was hot in the heatwave we experienced). But this place comes highly recommended! The wine couldn’t be more local, and the owners Richard and Monique and their family can’t do enough for you!"

"I LOVED House Mayfa! After making the cottage my home for 65 nights I was very sad to leave. It is on a quiet road that dead ends at an old dairy farm. Neighbors are quiet and respectful. The home is quaint and extremely comfortable. The hosts have incorporated lots of local and tasteful antiques and accessories. "Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt in dem „großen Tiny House“. Man fühlt sich sofort wie daheim 😊 Alles ist liebevoll, individuell gestaltet, durchdacht und gemütlich. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen, zusätzlich gibt es noch Extras wie ein Trampolin und eine eigene Bergbahn (bei der sogar die Durchsagen und Türöffnung noch funktionieren). Auf der Veranda und dem Garten ist man wunderbar ungestört mit Weitblick ins schöne Umland - herrlich zum Grillen oder den Sonnenuntergang...

"Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig, es ist sehr sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir machten kleine Wanderungen im Spätherbst. In einer halben Stunde ist man in der Altstadt von Wissembourg. Bäcker zu Fuß erreichbar (da außer der Saison sonntags nicht). Supermarkt. Viele Gaststätten und Weinstuben, am Wochenende besser vorbestellen."

"Das Apartment ( wir hatten Nummer fünf) wurde wirklich sehr hochwertig erneuert. Ein tolles Bad, die bemalten Wände wirklich sehenswert. Auch die Isolation im Dachgeschoss musste wirklich hervorragend gelöst sein, denn bei über 30° Außentemperatur heizte sich das Zimmer nicht auf. Leider war die Kücheneinrichtung sehr minimalistisch. Ein kleiner Kochtopf ohne Deckel, eine kleine Pfanne, keine Schüssel kein Brotmesser, kein Flaschenöffner und so weiter. Wer nur Kaffee trinkt und sich ein Brötchen...
