"This gem is located in a quiet northern suburb of Strasbourg. The host let us check in early and gave us a great overview of the apartment and the transportation options if you don’t utilize a car. Strasbourg and Colmar are worthy of a five day vacation on their own. The cobblestone roads and old rustic homes and buildings are spectacular. You must take the boat tour and visit the Cathedral of Norte Dame in Strasbourg. Thanks Christine for such a great vacation!"

"We loved staying at this location! The house was very comfortable, our whole family kept saying "it feels like we're staying at Grandma's house!". Everything we needed was there and the whole house was just a nice relaxing place to come home to after a long day of walking around. As others mention, the walk up the hill is a bit challenging, especially carrying luggage, but the view makes it worth it! "We were disappointed with the property. Two rooms and up to seven guests does a lot of heavy lifting in the description. Our kids bedroom was also the shared dining room and lounge. There is also air conditioning but only in one room. It is not available in the bedroom. A washing machine is available but you have to pay extra for this which felt cheep and penny grabbing. I found the correspondence with the owner difficult and received a curt reply when seeking to clarify entry...

"Wir hatten ein paar wundervolle Tage in Baden-Baden. Man kann von der Wohung aus loswandern und auch ein Bäcker ist am Morgen in Reichweite. Selbst ein Parkplatz in Reichweite hat sich immer gefunden. Die Gegend selbst ist wunderschön. Hier kann man Urlaub genießen!"

"Das Apartment ( wir hatten Nummer fünf) wurde wirklich sehr hochwertig erneuert. Ein tolles Bad, die bemalten Wände wirklich sehenswert. Auch die Isolation im Dachgeschoss musste wirklich hervorragend gelöst sein, denn bei über 30° Außentemperatur heizte sich das Zimmer nicht auf. Leider war die Kücheneinrichtung sehr minimalistisch. Ein kleiner Kochtopf ohne Deckel, eine kleine Pfanne, keine Schüssel kein Brotmesser, kein Flaschenöffner und so weiter. Wer nur Kaffee trinkt und sich ein Brötchen...
