"Place and location were good. That said management company never sent our check information. Apparently they had sent separate email that required ID verification and was deleted as I thought it was spam. I completely understand why this would be helpful but has never been required at any place I've stayed before. The problem is that this was never communicated in the text I received day prior or with booking email. When I realized I had received no checkin details it then took over 1.5 hrs...

"This unit worked very well for myself and my son and his girlfriend for an easy ski on ski off experience to the Tamarac lift. The kitchen has the basics of supplies which with we did fine. The bed in the bunk bed room was very comfortable. There isn’t a closet, shelves or hooks to unpack your clothes/personal items in that bedroom. We enjoyed the fireplace with wood provided, ease of parking, unpacking and packing up of our belongings to the car and of course the very short walk to the lift....

"Perfect size accommodation for our family of 5. Easy to find and a short walk to the trail. You can then ski to the Solitude lift or ski down to Jackson Gore. You're easiest return trail is Sidewinder, which was difficult for our 4 year old learning to ski. Otherwise, you can ski down the greens on the other side of Solitude lift; however, it's a slight uphill trek to get back to the house from the lift. The lodge with the indoor pool/amenities is also easier to drive than hike down to. Also...

"Perfectly located at the top of the A quad, my favorite part of the day was watching all of the dogs convene at yappy hour while we enjoyed some apres right in our condo! Great location for independent ski schedules of all ages. Clean, well appointed and comfy 2 BR unit. We love Winter Place and this unit is no exception."

"We chose this property for our first overnight ski trip with our young children and my parents. The property was extremely clean and well appointed with everything we needed. Perfect location for ski access, and the indoor pool was just a few steps away. Ellen was extremely responsive (making check in and check out a breeze), and was even kind enough to offer us a late check out (presumably due to no incoming renters the following day). Would absolutely recommend to anyone and plan to be back!"
