"My two boys and I have been coming to Windy Mile for 4 years now. We absolutely love this spot. It's quiet,peaceful, and away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The cabin is always clean and always has supplies for us to cook etc.. Audrey is an amazing host. This year she accommodated us with an extra day at the last minute. Checking in and leaving is always easy. Will definitely continue coming here with my boys."

"Beautifully upgraded, nicely maintained, well supplied, great outdoor spaces. Plenty of beds and couches and really nice lavatory facilities. Hosts communicated quickly and had a ton of local info and history on site. Little touches and amenities were excellent. One of our group will likely bring his family to this choice. It was off-season for affordability, but what a sweet choice. Devil's Backbone food and brews was relatively close and good rating as well."

"We had such a nice getaway weekend at The Chestnut House. The Heiston’s went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. The house was beautiful, cozy, and quiet. While sitting outside, the only thing we could hear was the relaxing sound of the river running through the backyard. The hosts made us feel very welcome and made it a wonderful experience. We would definitely book this home again. 10/10 recommend!"
