"Wonderful place. Super friendly on arrival and made sure we had a place to park. Great recommendations on what to do in Taranto. They made everything easy. Room was beautiful and comfortable, the terrace was lovely. Breakfast was also great. I wish we had been able to stay more than one night. Taranto is a fascinating city. The hotel is in the historic city, but at the edge, so it made arriving and parking easier. Easy walk to everywhere, including MARTA. The trattoria close by served excellent and very fresh (directly off the boat) fish. Highly recommend!"

"The Best Western in Massafra is a beautiful facility as it has only been open for a few months and everything is well cared for and gorgeous. I spent several hours working in the lobby area and found a nice little place to call home to get some serious work done.It also helped that there was a cappuccino bar with yummy pastries, and in the evening a bar for your first drink. The staff are amazing, courteous, and kind, and very attentive to your needs. From the moment you set foot into the hotel to the time you leave you feel as though you’re at home.. "

"We were given a very warm welcome by Eligio and lovely Sara on arrival and then a detailed explanation of the workings of the accomodation. The trulli is equipped with top quality crockery and linen which we have found in our travels is not always the case. The owner has paid particular attention to providing everything required for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. A huge bowl of fruit, wine, pasta and cheese awaited our arrival. During our stay Eligio checked in with us regularly by text to ensure that we were comfortable and asked if he could assist in any way. On our last night Eligio and Sara asked if they may visit and to say goodbye. The sweets and presents that they offered to us on departure were gourmet delicacies and very much enjoyed and appreciated. The hospitality was top class and unmatched and we are left with wonderful memories of this stay. "

"We had a great time at Vinilia, the castle, surroundings and pool are wonderful. Our room had modern amenities with an Italian style. We had dinner at their restaurant Casamatta, chef Pietro Penna tribute to his cuisine and journey was outstanding, breakfast was the perfect starting of the day with delicious bread and fruits. Thank you to all the staff, they were very friendly and helpful, especial thanks to William and Andrea."

"Stayed in the apartment. Could use a few more supplies for if you need to stay in and want to make a meal. Not a very warm and cozy space, nowhere to relax but on the beds, but guess that is what the outside lounge areas are for! Think it is more designed for using as a base and touring elsewhere for the day. Did not see inside the trullis, maybe they are more cozy in feel? Breakfast by the pool was awesome! The two girls who work for the property are very kind! Bicycles really shouldn't be offered, they are old and broken. It is a beautiful setting, just maybe tired from the summer travellers. We still very much enjoyed our stay, the surrounding Valle d'Itria is incredibly beautiful! (Rented e-bikes in Martina Franco and toured the countryside on those! An amazing day!)"

"From the moment we walked in the door Alessandro and staff made us feel wonderfully welcome. Romano was there with a welcome drink, Federica with a hand massage…fantastico. The property was absolutely stunning and well maintained. We were upgraded to a beautiful suite and the daily breakfast was rich with both international hot options and local classics-served in a beautiful dining room leading out to the gardens-by a friendly and efficient staff member. We didn’t get her name unfortunately. The two front desk staff were also very helpful. The pictures and description of this Villa do not do the place justice. Highly recommended."
