"This lovely old property on the beach was as advertised. It is spacious and well appointed. All the appliances worked well. Our host Florinda was very gracious and helpful. The property has a beach to walk to and also miles of free beaches and lidos down the coast which we visited. As most apartments we have found with high ceilings, there were no reading lights in the lounge. Extremely clean."

"This apartment was perfect for our 8-night stay in Taranto... It provided all of our needs... The location right across from the Duomo was very safe and a short walk to the train station and/or through the old city toward the castle and across the bridge to the new city... Our hosts Fabio and his wife Francesca were most helpful and picked us up at the station and drove us to the apartment to make sure we were comfortable... They even came over when we checked-out and took us to the station...

"The accommodation in Ceglie was very sweet and little. The staircase to enter the room was very small and very steep so would be difficult if you are unsteady on your legs or have sore knees. It is a central location but you need to find parking which was not to bad for us as we were there in September, not sure how it would be in peak season. All together it was quite a nice experience. Every bit of noise from the street is heard through the bathroom window ( even after stuffing a pillow in there ) There is almost no privacy in the bathroom and everything can be heard in the main living space."

The place is out of the city a bit but close to beaches and the great community of San Vito, only a ten minute taxi ride to Taranto."
