"Perfect stay for a couple of nights visiting Udine and surrounding areas. The hotel is located in a quiet area but still close to the city centre. Staff at the reception are professional and helpful. Nice having the option of having breakfast in the morning. "

"We ended up here because we couldn’t find a hotel anywhere else, but it was awesome. Great price and very “European”. We stayed in a senior suite with a living room and bathroom. Gorizia is a beautiful, small, Italian college town. We had a delicious dinner just across the street and truly enjoyed the 16th century bar in our hotel where the bartender told us a lot about the hotel history. "

"This is a somewhat dated (quirky even?) hotel with very friendly staff. The hotel is well-worn, but our rooms were big by European standards. The bed was reasonably comfortable. Shower, while it took a bit to figure out how to turn it on, produced a good flow of plenty warm water. Parking on street after 7pm and before 9am is free. The carpet could be replaced, as it’s dated. Hotel is on a main boulevard and is convenient to all sorts of food and the theatre. All told, I would stay there again...

"A very stylish place, great restaurant with very helpful and friendly staff. Really loved the vibe, perhaps not for everyones taste as it is rather stark and intimidating. I really appreciated the uniqueness personally and it's nice that there was a gym/pool etc. Minor downside, no iron or ability to iron which is a frustration for a business traveller staying there only one night. I'd likely stay again if the occasion arises. "
