Turtle Casa is a fabulous 3 story Beach Villa with each level featuring a full kitchen, living room, dining areas, bedrooms and baths. This listing is for renting the ENTIRE HOUSE - THREE FLOORS, SIX BEDROOMS, 4.5 BATHROOMS, THREE KITCHENS, TWO MASSIVE DECKS.

We have 5 additional listings on VRBO that will give you more choices for all of our 2 and 4 bedroom options to suit your needs and budget. Listing address' are provided at the bottom of this section. Please check them all out and make the choice that's the best fit for you.

Electricity is INCLUDED. We simply ask out guests to be conservative with it, as it is VERY EXPENSIVE on Roatan!

Turtle Casa will set the stage as one of the best properties you can find on Roatan for affordable and comfortable group gatherings. Everyone stays in the same Villa on 3 separate floors, but has their own private suite for quiet time and a place to unwind. There are even separate kitchens to keep mealtimes simple and easy. Traveling with a group is great fun, but you'll really appreciate having private space to retreat when desired.

Gather together for socializing in the very spacious Gaming Level (middle floor) with Billiards, Darts, Games, Bluetooth Stereo, Dining space for 12+, Projector and an expansive covered patio. Retreat to your own private suite when you want to just relax and have private time. For this reason, Turtle Casa is just ideal for Family Reunions, Destination Weddings, Missions Trips, Dive Trips, or any reason groups travel together!

WIFI: If you need to get some work done (or just like staying in touch or streaming) Turtle Casa has upgraded to the highest residential WIFI package available on-island through Fiber Optic cable. We've added a Google Mesh system to reach all corners of the large villa with excellent upload and download speeds as well.

The Villa is located in the Sandy Bay area, away from the commotion and noise of the tourist areas, and at the same time just a short drive to the best areas on the Island for public beaches, restaurants and nightlife. Our property is ideal for the traveler wanting to stay away from the crowds but close to the action. You'll appreciate the quiet at night when you're sitting out on the veranda or swinging in one of our Hammocks, watching the stars and listening to the waves crashing on the reef just offshore.

You couldn't have a better location for Diving, Snorkeling, Kayaking, Fishing, Island excursions to Cayos Cochinos or other exotic locales and Sunset Cruises - The hallmarks of a vacation at Turtle Casa. Walk out the door and have your party picked up right at the end of our dock for all of these activities! Our next door neighbor (Capt Tim) shares our expansive dock and runs one of the most popular charter services in Roatan for deep sea/fly fishing, Island Excursions to Cayos Cochinos and other remote locations like Pigeon Cay and Sunset cruises. And speaking of our dock, Turtle Casa features a custom 2 level Dock, built with ocean activities and entertainment in mind. Plenty of Adirondack-style seating, hammocks and Sea Kayaks make this a great place to spend a relaxing afternoon. And your diving/fishing/excursion operators all can pick you up right there without having to leave the property!

Or slide one of our kayaks down the easy ramp into the ocean and kayak out to the gorgeous coral reef, just off shore, for some fantastic snorkeling at Roatan's famous dive site, Spooky Channel.

The beach at Turtle Casa is within the protected area of the Roatan Marine Park. As such the shore area and shallows cannot be dredged or cleaned of sea grass and other organic matter. The result is that it is NOT a swimming beach like nearby West Bay and other public beaches, and the sea bottom is squishy and silty. This is why we provide sea kayaks and a beautiful dock for enjoying the water.

What you get at Turtle Casa is gorgeous views, sunsets that will take your breath away and world class diving/snorkeling right from our dock. And when you want that quintessential "Caribbean Beach" experience West Bay is a quick 15 min drive, with quiet and serenity to return to at the end of your day.

Have you always wanted to swim with Dolphins? The world famous Roatan Institute for Marine Science is located within walking distance from Turtle Casa at Anthony's Key. Here you can Snorkel with Dolphins, Dive with Dolphins or even become a 'Trainer for a Day'. An experience you'll never forget!

So much to do right on site - AND away from all the crowds.

And then there's Turtle Casa's spectacular deck's overlooking the Ocean; my favorite place to swing in the hammock's every morning with a cup of coffee or watch the unbelievably gorgeous Caribbean sunsets!

Lastly, Turtle Casa provides a garage with automatic doors and a full size washer/dryer for your convenience at no charge.

The Penthouse Suite, 2BR/2Bath - The top floor of Turtle Casa, THE PENTHOUSE, features wood floors, fine furnishings from Bali and central America, well equipped kitchen with granite counters, a fine dining table for 6, a very large covered veranda with loungers, hammocks, gas grill and an outdoor dining set for 4. This suite is geared for the more discriminating travelers with 2 large Master Bedrooms, each with it's own private master bath. Master Bedroom 1 features a King size bed and master bath with 2 sinks and a beautiful mosaic rock shower with dual "rain" style shower heads. Master Bedroom 2 features a queen size bed and master bath with 2 sinks and a shower/tub combination. The Penthouse is our most sophisticated and luxurious suite, offering spectacular unimpeded sunset and ocean views.

The Gaming Suite, 2BR/1.5 Bath - Gather together for socializing and fun in the very spacious middle Gaming Suite featuring Billiards, Darts, Games, Books, a Projector, Stereo and an expansive covered patio. This suite is all about sharing good times with family and friends! It features a large covered veranda with hammocks, loungers, gas grill and an outdoor dining set for 6. Inside you'll find a fine 6 person dining set, expansive living room/game room with 1/2 bath, full kitchen with all appliances and granite counters, even a wine chiller! The 2 Queen bedrooms share a Jack & Jill bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Without a doubt, this is where your group will spend most of it's time together and it's got what you need.

The Beach Suite, 2BR/1Bath - The Beach Suite is the ground level of Turtle Casa and provides our most economical accommodations. It is smaller in size than the Gaming/Penthouse levels as it shares it's floor space with the 2 car garage. But it still provides 2 good size bedrooms (1 queen/1double), a living room/dining room, full kitchen (half sized fridge) with granite counter tops and a full bathroom. It has a large outdoor seating area just a few steps to the Beach with loungers and hammock.

Great Family Trip
Roatan was great. The host was amazingly responsive and insightful! Snorkeling by the buoys provided some great coral and sea wildlife. We used Ruthless for an amazing day trip Michelle, Brian, and Greg were amazing!

Amazing vacation rental in Roatan...
This property is amazing and was a perfect fit for our party of 11. Communication with Marnie was great and her recommendations were spot on. We used Sandy Bay Divers for all our diving excursions, Ruthless Charters for a deep sea fishing trip and chef Jennie to cook our catch. The house offers privacy away from the busy West End tourist area but is only a short drive away for when you want those activities. I highly recommend this house for your Roatan vacation!

Unforgettable vacation!
I travel a lot with my friends and I've been in many countries and rented many houses. I would give 10 stars to Kevin and Claire for their warm welcome and an excellent service! We loved the location - close to town and yet away from roads and crowds. Snorkeling was amazing, we used kayaks during the day, but also did night snorkeling just across the house. We have rented top 2 floors and enjoyed beautiful sunset views. Desiree, our concierge had reserved a private chef for our group (10 people) - and dinner was delicious and beautifully decorated. We loved it so much, we had asked for another dinner to be arranged! House had everything we needed. Overall, we had great, unforgettable vacation and seriously considering coming back next year!

Awesome Stay at Turtle Casa
We were a group of 10 (two families with three young adult sons and their girlfriends). We rented the whole house and had PLENTY of room. The house was well stocked with beach towels, kitchen items, games, lounge chairs, washer/dryer, kayaks, etc. Marnie was SUPER helpful before and during our stay making sure we understood the immigration forms, providing us with helpful tips on groceries and info about the house, and making sure the house met our expectations upon arrival. The house was very clean and is well maintained. During our stay we booked a fishing charter with Ruthless Roatan (literally next door/shared dock) and had a great trip! Sandy Bay is a bit off of the grid, which was perfect for us as we were anxious to avoid the cruise ship crowds. We rented two cars at the airport and did not have any issues getting around the island. I/we would recommend Turtle Casa to friends!

Great location for a family vacation.
This property is located in a neighborhood, away from the tourist areas. It is on the beach with wonderfully easy access to the reef- just a quick swim. The reef is in wonderful condition and it is well worth the trouble of bringing your own snorkel gear as you'll want to go out multiple times. We rented the entire house and had plenty of room for our family of 7 adults with multiple bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms. It was great to hang out on the decks, eat together and enjoy the hammocks. We fished with Tim and Michelle next door, went diving with Sea Divers Roatan, played with dolphins at Anthony Keys Resort, all within walking distance of the house. Several restaurants were within walking distance as well. Do make time for a wonderful meal at Roatan Oasis. We rented a large van and it just fit into the garage with the mirrors folded in. The house is gated and the management company was great at check in showing us the location and how to access the property.

Wanted to stay all summer!
This property, location, and hosts were more than we could have asked for. We had 8 of us, including two 9 year olds and used all three floors. The setup was perfect. And we had more than enough amenities. Marnie was also very quick to respond and give helpful guidance if needed. We did almost all of our meals at the house and found the kitchens well stocked - even with an assortment of spices. (Eldon’s is the place to shop and note that the house has grocery bags in the kitchen that you can use and save a few dollars.) And the location was phenomenal. Using the kayaks (or even swimming) to go out and snorkel was very easy. There is some really nice snorkeling straight out from the house. Nonetheless, a little to the east (straight out from the orange house) is top world class snorkeling at Spooky Channel. We swam there at least 6 times, and every time left amazed and having seen something new. Also snorkeled at Hall Moon Bay - which was fine but didn’t compare with Spooky Channel. And we snorkeled at West Bay Beach. The beach there is beautiful and the snorkeling was incredible here too and yet very different from near the house - highlights were the green moray eel and the eagle ray. Was planning on this being a once in a lifetime trip but we might actually try to come back - and if we do, Turtle Casa will be our place to go!

AMAZING
What an amazing place! I highly recommend Turtle Casa in Sandy Bay. Check in was smooth and very courteous. Lots of communication with the owners. This house is fabulous for business trips, family get aways or just one of the floors. We just spent 10 days here with our family. We rented the whole place so spacious never felt like we were on top of each other. Decorated so beautifully very relaxing atmosphere . Waking up each morning to this beautiful view and watching sunsets from the deck each night. We had 10 adults 3 children. Each floor has their own kitchen and bathroom. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms . Super clean and kept up meticulously. Each kitchen totally equipped for cooking. Grills on every deck. Washer and dryer in garage. If your a diver close to spooky channel. They have kayaks to use to paddle out to reefs for awesome snorkeling. Swimming with dolphins close by as well.Water taxis pick you up off the dock for diving, snorkeling or fishing. They have driving and cooking services which we used that were incredible. Thank you Frankie and Jenny. We took water taxi to West bay a few times and had driver pick us up. It was nice to be out of the hustle and bustle touristy part which we loved. Really loved location of the house felt really safe. Thank you Mark and Katie for letting our family share your place . We created memorable moments.

Turtle Casa is the ABSOLUTE best!!
Turtle Casa was absolutely amazing! We cannot wait to go back. Each level of the home was very well stocked. Lots of towels to use for the beach. Even some extra snorkel equipment in the garage. But the thing that put it over the top was Marnie! She did such a great job communicating information to us, giving us and helping us with recommendations of things to do and places to go. I cannot say enough wonderful things about all her help and guidance. We had two families traveling, and it was an absolute blast to all be together and get to stay at the same house. We really enjoyed snorkeling and kayaking; and some fishing right from the dock. This house and the people running it literally made it one of our best stays of anywhere we’ve ever been

Amazing stay at the Turtle Casa
My family and I (group of 10) stayed at the Turtle Casa for 8 nights and it was a great stay. the location is right in the sweet spot of Roatan. 10 minutes away from the airport, 10 minutes from West End and 18 minutes to West Bay. the house was cleaned, the check in process was smooth and Marnie was very responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here and we will be rebooking for next years Holiday season

From long before our stay to well after, the communication with Marnie was great. She went out of her way to make sure we had all the answers we needed before arriving. We enjoyed great food from Chef Jennie that she recommended. Amazing sunsets from the dock. Great snorkeling using the kayaks. Johney was very accommodating along the way. Terrific choice!
We loved our 2 week stay here with a party of 8! We rented all three floors and found this to be the perfect retreat and home base for our Roatan vacation. The owners arranged for someone to meet us in person at check in and show us everything personally. The house was amazing - plenty of room, great views, full kitchen on every floor. We used the private dock almost every day to kayak to some great snorkeling spots or just bask in the sun. We even left right from the dock for a day trip with the charter service that operates next door. All in all, a wonderful experience!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay at Turtle Casa. It is well-kept, well equipped and well furnished. The property manager was very responsive to any of our requests or needs. The owners provided excellent recommendations regarding things to do, and people who could provide the services and activities that we were interested in. We were eight family members, ranging in age from 6 to 76. This was our first time in Roatan and it was a terrific experience.

July 2019 Family Vacation
There were 11 of staying at Turtle Casa. The house worked perfect us as there were 3 families, so each family had their own floor. There were a few minor issues. Only 2 of 3 grills worked. The house is equipped with a 2 car garage, but we were only able to open on side. There was recent tile repair on the gaming floor, however the grout was not sealed, so the floor was constantly sandy. The ac in the penthouse suite was not working properly. Once reported, it was fixed that same day.

Everything we hoped it would be
We had a fantastic stay at Turtle Casa. We rented all three floors, and there was plenty of space for our group of 14. The house was great for everything we wanted to do. We cooked multiple meals for the family, and the cookware and kitchen appliances were all adequate for our meal prep. We loved taking out the kayaks and snorkeling. The views from the house were tremendous. Roatan Vacation Rentals took care of us during our stay, and Alex, my main contact was constantly available, courteous, and professional. I called him 3 different times with questions or concerns and he took care of us every time. The only bad part was when we had to leave. Nobody wanted to go! It was a perfect large family vacation.

Wonderful Family Vacation at Turtle Casa
This was a great rental for our family gathering of 6 adults and 3 kids. We rented the whole house. The rental van fit in the garage with mirrors folded in. The snorkeling out front around the exposed coral head was great. The house is in a quiet area which we appreciated all the more after visiting west end. A nearby dive shop picked us up on the dock for diving and we arranged some boat snorkeling with a neighbor. We had quick help from the rental agency when we locked ourselves out of the safe and reported an issue with a lock.

Perfect Family Getaway
This place was perfect for a family...six bedrooms, 3 kichens, 4.5 bathrooms, large living spaces in the penthouse suite, family gathering in the gaming suite, and privacy in the beach suite. I loved having multiple kitchens so the early risers could start their day with coffee or breakfast and not disturb the late sleepers. The gaming suite was the ideal gathering place for evening entertainment...billiards, darts, jigsaw puzzles, reading, movies, etc. Each suite has its own balcony for perfect sunset views. Turtle Casa is close to the airport, has its own dock for excursion pick-ups, you can kayak to great snorkeling. AND the house is right on the beach, so easy beach access. If you plan to cook while you are here, make sure you bring all your spices, oils, etc., since there was only salt and pepper. Other places we have stayed provided at least a few other spices. I would recommend Turtle Casa to anyone looking for a lovely, well appointed, centrally located home away from home.

Great island getaway!
I stayed at Turtle Casa with friends in April and we had a fabulous time! The home has been extensively updated recently which made the stay even more enjoyable. Very comfortable beds and nice quality linens, towels and pillows (a must for me!). The Penthouse is really sweet and has the feel of a very expensive hotel. The gaming suite was terrific for congregating together and having fun in the evenings. The large covered decks on all levels with loungers and hammocks made mornings and evenings really pleasurable for relaxing and just taking in the sights and sounds of the ocean and sunsets. We rented a car so having the garage was also a real bonus, keeping our car safe and cool. Turtle Casa is in a local island neighborhood, away from the tourist areas, and the local people were quite friendly. We enjoyed this aspect as West End and West Bay are quite busy and noisy - lot's of fun for night life and going to the beach during the day, but nice to retire to Turtle Casa in the evening where we could enjoy the peace and quiet of the ocean (there were the occasional local dogs barking, but all in all it is quite peaceful and quiet). All of the activities we were interested in were very close to the house so it was never a big inconvenience to make the short trip to all the places we wanted to see. All in all I highly recommend Turtle Casa for anyone considering Roatan for their next vacation, particularly if you're interested in snorkeling, diving or fishing. The kayaks were great and the snorkeling out in front of the house was some of the best we found on the island. Diving operators will pick you up right at the dock and the next door neighbor has a fabulous fishing charter as well. His sunset cruise was amazing and all we had to do was walk out the door and get on the boat! Thanks again for a great trip. We hope to visit the island again and will definitely stay at Turtle Casa.

Perfect!
Turtle Casa was great. We stayed in the Penthouse suite, which has a large deck that overlooks the caribbean. The sunsets are amazing. During the day it’s a great place for lounging in the hammocks. There are two bedrooms - the “master” suite and the “guest suite”. I stayed in the guest suite, which has it’s own bathroom with double sinks, shower/tub, and toilet. The only difference I found between the two bedrooms was the master had a king size bed. My bed was very comfortable (I’m going to see if I can find the brand when I get home). Our friends stayed in the Gaming Suite, which is just below us. This is a great space too, with the same large deck facing the sea and lots of windows. The pool table is in great shape, and I had fun with the electronic dart board. The house is very solidly constructed, which meant that we really didn’t hear any noise coming from below, even though our friends had 2 small, energetic children. When I travel to foreign countries, I like a combination of eating out and cooking my own meals using local ingredients. I found the kitchen was equipped with pretty much anything I needed (make sure to get spices at the store, as there were only the basics when I arrived). When we felt like going out for dinner or lunch, West End, with all it’s restaurants and night life, is less than a 10 minute drive. We had a car, and I highly recommend having one anywhere you stay on the island - there is so much to see! But if you want to use a taxi the property managers have special drivers they can hook you up with. Another thing that’s important for me is “chill” space: I like to hang out and do touristy things, but I also love a peaceful spot to retreat to - Turtle Casa was perfect for that. The dock is cool for hanging out, swiming, boating, or catching water taxis. There are fishing guides that run their operation from there! I brought my fly fishing equipment, and found out that Sandy Bay is actually one of the better spots on the island for Bonefish and Permit. I caught 3 bonefish *right in front of the house* - the first was almost six pounds! My friend’s daughter had a blast catching reef fish right off the dock. There’s also kayaks which guests are free to use at any time. We went to Spooky Channel daily, which has amazing snorkeling (it’s just a 5 minute row!). I could have hung out at the house exclusively and did all the snorkeling, fishing, kayaking and relaxing that I wanted. It was just GREAT.

Perfect for our 15 Person Family Reunion
This house was perfect for our 15 person family reunion this July. We rented all 3 floors. Being right on the water is great - and the docks and porches were used daily. The house itself was big enough for us all - we did use the hide-a-bed couches for sleeping. We cooked nearly all our breakfasts and dinners in the second floor kitchen (and BBQ) and used the other floor's kitchen's refrigerators for storing all the food we ate. After each scuba session, we cleaned up with the outside shower. The house is plenty big for all us to visit, shoot pool, relax, and enjoy the view. We did use the kayaks to snorkel in the reef just beyond the dock (our dive shop took us scuba diving here too). If our family were to return to Roatan, we would definitely make this our first housing choice.

This was a great property for a large group
I just want to start by saying that, from start to finish, Claire and Desiree were quick to respond to my emails, request and questions. They also provided excellent customer service from start to finish. Upon arriving on the island, Claire , Kevin and Desiree met us at the airport and took us to Turtle Casa (houses on Roatan do not have addresses) and showed us around. The house was large enough for our family of 18 and had ample cooking space and refrigerators (one on each floor). The pictures/descriptions of the house and other write ups are accurate. We took advantage of the pre-arrival grocery delivery which allowed us to start eating and drinking upon arrival. We used all their recommendations from Blue Island Diving, Good Eats Gourmet Chef, The Bulk Gourmet, Tranquils Bar and Grill, Daniels Monkey Farm, and Islandertours taxi service. Juan Carlos with Islandertours had taxis ready every time we called and his drivers were professional and acted as a tour guide while driving us around. Turtle Casa was clean and had everything we needed. Turtle Casa sits on the beach with easy access to good snorkeling on the shallow side of the briefer reef just off the dock (this is were all the snorkel tours take you by boat and the dive boats are on the other side of the reef where it drops to 125 feet). The kayaks were available and the dock offered great sunset views and ocean breezes. It was a short walk to Anthony's Key Marine Institute & Resort as well a short walk to the main road for catching any taxi driving by. The locals living in the area were very nice and we all felt safe. The only issue we had the entire 10 days was one of the air conditioners (top floor) quit working on the Christmas Sunday and Kevin had a air conditioning repair man out on Monday morning to fix it. Overall, I highly recommend Turtle Casa and especially Blue Reef Properties (can't say enough about their professionalism). Dean Diddell
