House is located in an old neighborhood that is very much in transition. This house is decently remodeled, but you can tell some corners were cut. Some efforts have been made to make it guest-friendly, but some improvements would go a long way. Such as hangers in the closet, more space to put your things, provide a shovel and ice melt during the winter. We got 2" of snow during our stay with no way to clear the steps and sidewalk to our car. It got quite slippery. I was excited about the pool table, but the room is not quite big enough causing it to be quite difficult to get a good shot on three different sides of the table. Unfortunately, during our stay there was issues with the furnace. The temp inside the house kept going down and we had difficulties connecting with the host in a timely manner. The phone number he provided was incorrect so finally had to contact VRBO to get his number. Once he did get in touch with us, he offered to put us up in a hotel which was greatly appreciated, it just took a while to hear from him.
