"This apartment is so spacious and clean. It is located in a wonderful area with lots of restaurants, and shops easy to walk to. "Great location near the Galata tower. The apartment had great views overlooking the city and even better views from the terrace up stairs. The only negatives were the bed was broken so had a very bad sag. I ended up sleeping on the couch. Be aware the stairs are very steep, especially if carrying up luggage. There is no lift"

I wasn’t able to get the AC remote fixed and we kept asking for someone to bring us a Table for iron and no one would, we asked for a strainer and few other dishes and they kept saying we don’t have it, we kept asking for cloth hanger to dry our cloth and it took 5 days to get that, we asked for our gym card and that took forever to get also.. "We had no hot water or internet but the local manager failed to resolve the problems. The kitchen is in a terrible state. Shoddy electrics and DIY throughout. No duvet covers. Stinking mop left in bathroom. We discovered that, when you have a problem, you have three different groups to deal with Vrbo, a manager in London (Travel Staytion) and a local manager (Missafir) - and it does not work for you, the customer."

"Great base to explore the city. Food options locally are limited and over priced for tourists so it pays to find restaurants further away from Taksim. The apartment itself is small, the bedroom has no window, however we slept well none the less. Things are characterful I think you would say. "ive stayed here many times because its a very good price for central istanbul- it is quite basic but it has character, it is in the tarlabasi a very old district of istanbul, a bit ramshackle- which i like, but safe,. there are friendly reception staff, close to istiklal caddesi with its many restaurants and shops. its on a very steep street so not great for people with mobility problems, it is also close to the famous sunday market, comfortable bed, i slept well"
