"We staid in the Holm Oak Barn, this is a very roomy place. The bedrooms are quite large and have a plenty of root to maneuver around. There’s a bathtub in one room, a standing shower in another and a handicap bathroom in the master bedroom. The beds are comfortable and pleasant to sleep in. The kitchen has all the pots & pans you would need, with plenty of utensils. The location is certainly located to a few towns and makes it easy to run out for food and groceries. We had a few improvements...

"Fantastic pre arrival contact with owner, who were exceptionally helpful. House was great, suited our needs perfectly. Very central, easy walking distance to shops, cathedral, or if eating out. Clear and precise instructions on how everything worked EG: shower, heating etc. Would definitely stay here again. Loved it! "

"My son and his girlfriend stayed here and they loved their stay. They loved having a fire in the evenings to make them feel cozy. The bed was very comfy and they had great sleep. "A cosy and well equipped cottage in a beautiful Suffolk village. We stayed whilst our house was having some building works and it made the perfect “home away from home”. Any very minor issues (plumbing) sorted straight away by the very helpful property manager. Would highly recommend."

"Great location and host very flexible and helpful. Living space is in the roof area (with skylights) and a downstairs wet room so not ideal in really hot spells or for people with physical limitations."

"Comfortable, well-equipped cottage built onto the end of the farmhouse next door, with its own drive and grounds and ample parking space. The setting is rural, surrounded by fields and copses, just over a mile down a narrow single track lane. Very quiet, apart from the sound of planes on the flight path into Stansted airport 15 miles or more away, which didn't really bother us in October (though for a couple of nights bizarre acoustics did make a couple staying next door in the farmhouse sound...

"Provides everything you would expect from this type of holiday. Great cottage (apart from the wifi speed, but that's a reflection of having a home in the city!). A very welcoming package - wine, chocolates, flowers and a superb lemon drizzle cake. Overall - very very good."

"We absolutely loved our stay at The Green! The cottage is beautiful with its thatched roof, ceiling beams and big fireplace. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything you might need & a lovely private garden to enjoy the summer evenings. Communication with Tracy was excellent. She made sure we had everything we needed and provided some brilliant personalised recommendations for things to do/happening in the local area. The cottage is located conveniently for lots of attractions...

"This was our second visit to the house, as we returned for the Lavenham Literary Festival. It’s a beautiful home, larger than it looks in the pictures, with a very cosy sitting room. We will be back!!!"

"I greatly enjoyed the combination of comfort, beautiful Yurt interior and outdoor living for 4 days. The wood burner gets the Yurt very cosy in a short while if it is chilly. Charlie was very helpful and considerate. There is some noise from the passing road but the views and secluded position more than make up for that. I would happily return."
