"Thank U for the chilled atmosphere, kids loved it, close to everything estuary, bridge for bombing, at the beach, everything you would need for a comfy stay, had a lil issue with trampoline but John was easy to communicate wih and sort out … recommend this lil gem to stay … Thanks again John "

"This is a great spot. It's about 5 minutes from the Opua Ferry and less than 10 from Russell. It's super remote and quiet. Taking our suburban kids (9 and 4) was fantastic. There is a little boat shed at the bottom of the hill and access to a beach which my older kid loved exploring. The beach itself is quite rocky and full of oyster shells so not recommended for swimming but Long Beach near Russell is amazing and only a short drive away. The house itself is clean, tidy and well loved. ...

"This property managed to accomodate a large group of adults with a mix of couples and singles. The location was great and the property did mostly deliver. I think a bit more thought to the number of towels provided for a week of stay plus a more well equipped kitchen could have warranted a gold star rating. "

"Stunning place close to the beach with everything you need for an awesome family break. Very well set up for dogs, fully fenced and lots of spare bowls and leads if you've left them at home."

"The house is well maintained and has a beautiful view. The property manager was "all business" - but was responsive when help was requested. Only one bedroom was made available - the other bedrooms were locked. (I some times am restless and might have made use of the second bedroom - though in all fairness I didn't raise the issue.)"

"Our third visit to this amazing beach house and yet again it didn’t disappoint. The hosts are lovely and have thought of everything to make this a relaxing and well-equipped stay. The location gives you the choice of at least 3 beaches to walk to, or just sit back and watch the campsite and harbour comings and goings. Recommend the linen package if you are flying, super comfortable. Already making plans for our next visit. "

"An older facility but well maintained. Comfortable bed and nice place to stay. Very tight parking especially for medium sized cars. Very close and convenient to shops and ferries."
