"The property is quite large and is a nice island house. The bedrooms have air conditioning and it seems like the house has undergone some renovations as many parts look new. The best feature of the house is the very large porch with multiple hammocks. We spent most our time here. The host was fantastic and ensured we had everything we need. The only surprise was the location. The map on VRBO is not correct and the home is further away from the city than indicated on the site."

"Our family visiting from Texas and some of our locals’ stayed over to avoid the noises from NYE and have a pleasant overlooking at the sea. Casa Ballena didn’t disappoint. Starting with the quietness of the community, the gorgeous views, the lush landscape and well appointed interiors felt truly special. "Although the neighborhood and surroundings were run down and sketchy, we had a terrific stay!The interior is well decorated. Made us feel cozy and safe. "This was our second time staying at the Hacienda. We absolutely loved it. There’s so much to do at home, our teenager and young adults were never bored. We swam, played games and music. Although there is a tv available, it wasn't needed nor missed. Staying here made for some quality family time. Coral and Camacho made our stay beyond comfortable. The outdoor space and pool were a big hit and that is where we spent a majority of our time. The main level was open and airy and had plenty of space for us all in terms of the kitchen, dining room, etc. Upstairs bedrooms were large and spacious. We had a wonderful time!"
