"Such a nice, clean property. The bathroom was spacious, loved the shower. Great working kitchen. Close parking. It was a little hard to locate the property after dark. Good thing Google maps worked! What I liked best was sitting on the balcony looking at the mountains & the clouds over Lake Arenal. We loved our time here."

"We got an upgrade because the room we had reserved was not ready. The upgraded room had 3 beds and 2 baths. The bathroom was huge and the furniture was beautiful. The view of the lake and volcano was gorgeous. The wrap around terrace was stunning. This was 10x better than the one bedroom, one bath we had. "

"I think the place has great potential, the view is great, has great access and location. A bit breezy, but I liked that. A couple appliances did not work (Stove and coffee maker), probably not reported to the manager, as I mentioned it to a employee and a maintenance company was there promptly the next morning. The kitchen is nice, although sparcely outfitted. The bedroom would be a lot nicer with a dresser and a place to hang clothes. Wifi was good. The bathroom felt more like a laundry room...

"The condo was clean and looked exactly as listed! It was well located and was perfect for seeing stuff on the west side of Lake Arenal. However the air conditioning and WIFI did not work. We reached out to the host and the property office via email and no one responded. Not having WiFi made it very difficult to make plans and figure out where things were. May consider staying here again but only if those issues are corrected. "

"Nice overall. Beds were a bit worn and could have used more towels, even though we only had 5 people. The locatin is a bit out of the way. So, expect 45 minutes minum to get to points of interest. Not an issue as long as you prep for it."

"Great condo but a little thin on furnishings. Windy and hilly location. Even a walk to the pool was a challenging uphill walk back. Carla was great."

Communication with the host was excellent—he went above and beyond by arranging for his dad to check me in at 1 PM, an hour earlier than the standard check-in time. The cabin itself was cozy and well-maintained, and the view was absolutely stunning. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!"

"This is a very unique house in a very quiet and peaceful location. We only visited for 1 night so we did not get to enjoy it as much as we could have. Small miscommunication with our booking but as we went on an evening tour, things were straightened out and all was well by the time we returned. This would be a very fun place for a group of friends as there was a big field to play in, tons of beds, and a big covered communal area to play games. Wonderful lodge at the Arenal

"We had a wonderful stay at the Sangregado. Francisco and Luis were both taking turns at the reception and were incredibly nice, attentive, and expedient with their responses. They made sure we were well cared for, whether it was reservations or an issue with an equipment in the room. They are great advertisements for Sangregado. The remainder of the staff as well were wonderful. The included breakfast buffet at the Blue Hibiscus (at the Lost Iguana down the road) was delicious and all staff there were also wonderful. Sangregado was an oasis, away from the crowds, nestled in the forests looking towards Arenal. We will certainly return here in the future."
