"It is a period property with friendly & welcoming hosts. The full English breakfast is cooked to order from local produce. Which is amazing. Perfect to stay and relax and enjoy Scarborough harbour and beach. "

"If you are looking for a quaint old fashioned inn with character this is great for you. We wanted a small inn with an old world feel and enjoyed our stay. Rooms are clean, but also older and small. Since this is what we expected we were more then happy with it. Breakfast was easy and pleasant. Right across from the park and a short walk to the lake. No lift so if you have issues with stairs that could be a problem. Staff were very nice."

"Nice area and friendly welcome from the owners. Lot of building work at the rear of the property which was very noisy first thing in the morning which probably worth noting on the website. Property was reasonable but lacking in ventilation as the bedroom window was defective as was the skylight. Overall our stay was fine however if those mentioned shortfalls were addressed it would be a 5 out of 5"

"Just the best stay.Hosts Tony and Paula were phenomenal.Attention to detail was second to none.Food was delicious.Room was inviting,comfortable and well equipped,everything had been carefully thought out.Bathroom(as was the whole hotel) was spotless and well maintained with just the best shower.Tony and Paula you are the best.Thank you for welcoming me into your beautiful Home.The only downside....having to leave!hope to see you and Scarborough soon,you are all very special.x"
