We were travelling from town to town & booking accommodation via Internet was essential to us. Staff very helpful. "Giovanni and Rosa were wonderful hosts, even though they were in the middle of the olive harvest. The apartment is quite large, and the kitchen was one of the best equipped we've experienced. The rooftop terrace has an incredible view of the sunset over Lago di Varanno. It's a bit of drive to some of the other areas (e.g. the beautiful coastline south of Vieste), but that's true of most places on the peninsula because of the limited number of roads, most of which are quite narrow and twisty....
