"We booked the property to celebrate my father in laws 80th birthday so there were lots of people ranging from 2 months old to 102 years old! The house itself is fab and the accommodation on offer was great. Location is excellent being near Bolam Lake with some good walks. We had a few teething problems in terms of heating and some supplies but all in all had a good stay"

"The railway carriage was a lovely place for my dog and I to call home while we visited friends in Newcastle. Great walks on the doorstep and Newcastle is deceptively easy to get to.We visited the Column to Liberty at Gibside today that we could see from our window. "Very enjoyable stay at this property. The house is lovely! Great space in the garden for the kids to play. We set up a badminton net and they used in daily. Good woods at the back of the property to walk and explore too! Perfect if you're wanting to head into Newcastle city centre and many of the local beaches. "The house is spotless and cosy. Everything you needed is in the house. Lots of shops nearby. The host is very helpful and response quickly if you have questions. "

"Good communication and ease of booking. Very easy to find. Parking not to difficult although not outside (as listing says). Great location with just a short walk into town. Heating good and needed in January. Loads of hot water for the group and good showers. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. Would recommend. Only negative bathrooms not cleaned from previous booking."
