"Here's a few things to know in advance: 1.) The twin beds do NOT exist. It is a full size bed. Two of us had to share a bed and that was NOT part of the plan. We had enough beds for each of us to have our own bed, according to the online description. That was not the case. 2.) We are from Louisiana. We are used to humidity and heat. The A/C unit was not as we'd hoped. The middle room (master) stayed cold. The rest of us had fans blowing on us all night and didn't use the blankets...

"Once we dealt with the bird (that was inside stuck beside the stove) and the pests coming in, it was a very good stay. One suggestion would be to install weather striping around the doors to minimize pests (bugs, flies, bees, etc.). Otherwise, thumbs up."

"We absolutely loved our stay, even though we were here during Hurricane Debby! The house is beachfront and the beach was so nice and quiet. A true retreat away from the crowds. The house is well-stocked with everything we needed (even lanterns for when we lost electricity during the hurricane). "House needs work as noted by previous reviewers. We had,however, a 5 star experience. The view and the proximity to a virtually private beach was wonderful. We loved Dausfkie(our first time there). Tooling around in our golf cart and discovering hidden gems. The laid back vibe was just what we wanted. Residents are super friendly. I hope they do renovate the house. It deserves it. Great floor plan and lots of sunlight."
