"Four of us enjoyed the Blue Cottage in May 2024. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay including a well-functioning gas grill. The views of Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens (we think) were spectacular. It should be noted that the driveway is quite steep and can be a little slippery in wet weather, but there are steps in the middle of it to facilitate safe walking. Parking is available on the street as well as in a garage."

"The hosts put much love and effort to make the property unique and inviting. Nice decor, wonderful patio with water fountain, It is small, and the working and kitchen amenities are minimal. The window coverings let light in, but just put a pillow over your head. It works out beautifully. The hosts are personable and eager to make your stay comfortable."

"Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. Location was great for getting around Portland to explore, but having a quiet place to go back to within walking distance of lots of little shops and dining. House was clean and well-stocked with essentials. Parking was super easy. Although we didn’t need it, they did provide a pack-n-play for travelling with our infant. "Our stay here, at RIVERSIDE Cottage exceeded our expectations. We loved how they set up the fire pit, in early spring, so that we could start the fire. The first thing we did was sit on the balcony. That led us down to the river for the fire. The bed downstairs was just magical. It provided us with a very magical view into cabin living. The open aired upstairs living area, punctuated by a beautiful piano, made for the perfect stay. Thank you!"

"Neat and Tidy, all things to make your visit comfortable. Would be interesting to know the history of this little place. Hosts stayed in contact. Deer and squirrels stopped by for a visit. Very quiet except when the Train passes (after a day you don’t notice it). Only disappointment was the shower, it’s “NOT A SHOWER/TUB COMBO.” The Cottage slops a bit to the South, but understandable due to age. All in all it was a great place to stay."
