"I had a wonderful time at the Grove Park Inn. I had a mountain view room and it was nice. The hotel is beautiful and huge. They have a lovely fireplace in the lobby where you can relax and listen to the piano. The spa is amazing but the spots usually fill up quickly and require a 3 month in advance booking. "I like the location and the beautiful woods outside on the back balcony. However, the decor and furniture look like it came from a museum the 80s. Also, I was unlucky enough to be on the lower unit of the two and had very noisy neighbors, which is not too good with a wooden floor and also a connecting door that I had to put cushions up against deaden their noise. This is not the hotels fault I understand that, but beware if you get a unit that’s on the lower floor of the villas. "

"We enjoyed our vintage airstream experience at Asheville River Cabins. The setting right on the French Broad River is magnificent! The only disappointment was that the vintage airstream smells of cigarettes, although I got accustomed to it once inside, with the help of an aromatherapy spray. The memory foam mattress was very comfortable, and the kitchen had nice dishes and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our French press coffee every morning. "
